Cargo - Import To and Export from Australia *

Excess of $500 AUD applies.

Cover:
    Accidental Loss or Damage to Import or Export of Cargo

Floor to Floor Cover

  • Commences when goods are first moved for the specific purpose of loading for the transit and terminates when goods are received inside the intended destination, warehouse or place of storage, or 72 hours after unloading from final conveying vehicle.
  • Shut-out periods whilst waiting on wharfs, quays or piers

Cover Includes:

  • All retail and sales packaging
  • Shipping, containers in your care, custody or control - limit $50,000
  • Return goods inwards or outwards
  • Fire, Flood, Collision or Explosion
  • Theft, Pilferage or Non Delivery
  • Brands and label clause
  • Impact, Damage to Goods
  • Clean up costs following loss or damage upto $50,000
  • Delayed unpacking clause - upto 90 days after receiving goods
  • Duty clause - duties recoverable following a claim (Australian imports only)
  • Expediting expenses - extra airfright costs for replacement parts upto $20,000
  • Fumigation clause - following government authority order - upto $50,000
  • General average and salvage clause - full charges cover
  • Strikes diversion expenses clause - upto $50,000
Special Note: If you think you will be moving goods more than 3 times per year, please contact us as you may qualify for an Annual policy, which may be cheaper and less work for you.

Please Note

You can get a quote and cover online however you will need to contact us to correctly quote and complete the cover for you if;
  • You are moving more than one commodity in the shipment or consignment.
  • Your Total sum insured in Australian dollars exceeds $500,000.
  • You are shipping chilled or frozen meat, dairy products, fresh fruit or produce, small goods or medical supplies.
