The policy provides coverage for accidental loss or damage to your household goods and belongings while being transported or stored during your move. If a claim arises, the insurer will handle it within 48 hours of receiving the report, and you won't have to worry about identifying who caused the loss or damage.
Product Information
CARTS Removals and Storage Insurance covers local and interstate moves, with two types of cover options available:
- Accidental Damage - provides cover against any accidental physical loss or damage or the deliberate act of a third party, subject to the excluded events listed in the policy.
- Nominated Perils - provides a more limited cover for loss or damage to Your Household Contents and Personal property arising from one of the events listed in the cover option e.g. fire, flood and collision of the vehicle used to carry your goods. (Only available for moves within Australia)
How do I arrange cover?
You can easily arrange your cover online, 24/7. We offer secure online payment facilities and accept both VISA and Mastercard.
Cover for storage can only be obtained if you are using a recognised and professional facility. We are not able to provide cover for motor vehicles, boats, watercraft, trailers or caravans while they are in storage.
